Drain Cleaning & Sewer Service
A drain that backs up once is an inconvenience. A drain that backs up every few months is a symptom. We clear the blockage, then find out why it happened — because clearing the same line four times a year is not a repair, it is a subscription.
What we handle
- Kitchen sink, bathroom, tub, and shower drain clearing
- Main sewer line snaking and rootcutting
- High-pressure hydro jetting for grease and heavy buildup
- Sewer camera inspection with recorded video
- Sewer line locating and depth marking
- Sewer lateral repair and spot replacement
- Floor drain and laundry standpipe clearing
- Backwater valve installation
- Recurring-clog diagnosis and permanent fixes
- Catch basin cleaning
- Preventive drain maintenance programs
Clearing the line, then finding the cause
Snaking a line restores flow. It does not tell you whether the pipe is cracked, bellied, or full of roots. When a clog is recurring, we put a camera down the line and show you the footage — you see what we see.
That matters because the fix is different in each case. Roots call for cutting and a maintenance schedule, or a liner. A belly — a low spot where waste settles — is a pitch problem that only excavation solves. Grease responds to jetting and habit changes.

Hydro jetting versus snaking
A cable auger punches a hole through a blockage. Hydro jetting scours the pipe wall back to full diameter with high-pressure water. For kitchen lines coated in years of grease, jetting is the difference between a fix that lasts a month and one that lasts years.
Jetting is not right for every pipe. Old, brittle cast iron or a line that is already cracked can be made worse. That is why we camera first when there is any doubt.
Sewer backups are an emergency
If waste is coming up through a floor drain or the lowest fixtures in the house, stop running water immediately — every flush and every load of laundry adds to what comes back up. Then call us.
Sewage backups are a health hazard, not just a mess. We handle these calls on priority, including nights and weekends.

Drain Cleaning & Sewer Service — questions we get
Why does my drain keep clogging after it gets snaked?
Because snaking clears the blockage but not the condition that caused it. Roots grow back, grease re-coats the pipe, and a sagging line keeps collecting waste. A camera inspection tells you which of those you are dealing with, so you can fix the cause instead of paying to clear it again.
Are chemical drain cleaners safe to use?
We advise against them. Caustic cleaners often fail to clear a full blockage, they sit in the trap generating heat, and they can damage older pipe and gaskets. They also make the line hazardous for whoever opens it next. Mechanical clearing is safer and more reliable.
How much does a sewer camera inspection cost?
It depends on access and line length. Call (201) 675-0147 for a firm price on your property. When we perform the inspection as part of a repair or clearing, the cost is often folded into the job.
Do you clear roots from sewer lines?
Yes, with a cutting head sized to the pipe. Roots enter at joints and cracks and will return, so we also camera the line afterward to see how bad the entry points are and discuss whether a liner or spot repair makes sense.
